Band Profile The band was born in the 1998 in northern Italy, with HEKATOMB name, devoted since early times to violent thrashcore/death metal. Through this years the vocalist Andrea “AnD” Rolfo led the band along many changes and gigs, until in the 2005 it finally found it’s primal hardcore influences and change name in CORROOSION. After the self-maded experimental demo “Maze Of Human Deprivation”, the guitarist Alessandro “Sentenza” Brodini and our brutal drummer “Dave” Boeri have become permanent part of the compositive power. Following many extreme european tour and festivals with his native brutal death metal band, Septycal Gorge, Dave contributed to evolve again CORROOSION sound.
Through a continuative creative process, in 2008 the band stop gigging and entered the studio with Daniele Giordana (One Voice Studios, Hatebreed Team) to create it’s first six-tracks EP, “Two Steps Before The Vein”. The sound of this work is immediately appreciated by death metal and hardcore folks, and allows CORROOSION to play with artists like The Acacia Strain, Deicide, Neaera, Knights of the Abyss, Annotations of an Autopsy, Cripple Bastards and many more..
Then the bass player Marco and the guitar player Emanuele Ciancio became part of CORROOSION and start to work with the other guys on the first full length ready, in the autumn of 2009, to transport the fans of extreme music in its diversity and determination…
